Within the frame of the exhibition "Subject", at the Expoplu Foundation in Nijmegen, a closing and a debate with the public have been proposed on the role of art in public space.

Gerard Koek, artist living in Nijmegen, will present his project to create a lightning work "to B" for the Castella Tower in Nijmegen .
Dutch artist Edwin Stolk will explain his project "24 / 7_Trojan" performed in the public space in the city center of Nijmegen.
The work of the french artist Etienne Boulanger will be developed by Mathilde Sauzet, which will also feature the work of les Commissaires Anonymes (anonymous curators). This research bureau on contemporary art creation and mediation was created in 2010 by Cécile Roche Boutin, curator and consultant, and Mathilde Sauzet, curator and art critic. They deal with concepts related to the genesis of the imagination and artistic practices at the crossroads of cultural, social and political issues.

A discussion on the role of contemporary art in the public space and its relation to politics will be hosted by Lucette ter Borg, art critic for NRC Handelsblad. It will host on this occasion, local political representatives Cilia Daemen of the Green Left Party and Kristie Lamers of D66.
