Shots refers to the photographic image as well as to the discharge of a firearm. The rhythm of the images that follow in the projection frames is voluntarily expeditious and quick as a shot. Mechanical sounds of slide projectors, fans noise and succession of projected slides in the darkened room participate in a narrative in which the viewer is fully immersed. Vacant spaces awaiting demolition or being renovated in the heart of the Asian megacities, Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo are presented thanks to a dozen simultaneous projections revealing the urban change. This set of photographs does not represent reality, but it proposes a movement. Taken out of context, these pictures create a new space in constant motion and drawing a strong sculptural dimension.
